Privacy policy

The owner and operator of the website timbro.group is Sabiedrība ar ierobežotu atbildību "Timbro Group" (SIA Timbro Group), registration No. 40203549571, registered office Gaujas iela 5, Cēsis, LV-4101, Latvia ("Timbro Group", "we"). We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), applicable from 25 May 2018, and the Latvian Personal Data Processing Law (Fizisko personu datu apstrādes likums). This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and in connection with our bonds, why, on what legal basis, for how long, and what rights you have.
What data we collect
We collect: (a) contact details and the content of your message when you write to investors@timbro.lv, call us or otherwise contact us; (b) technical data generated when you visit the website (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, time of visit) in server logs; (c) if you hold bonds issued by Timbro Group, the data we receive from Nasdaq CSD and your custodian for the purpose of paying interest and principal and communicating with bondholders (name, personal identity code or registration number, securities account details, holding size, contact details), and where required, data for withholding tax. Providing data on this website is voluntary; data relating to bond ownership is processed because the law and the terms of the bonds require it.
Why we process it and on what basis
(a) to answer your enquiries and communicate with investors - legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); (b) to perform our obligations as an issuer of securities, including payments to bondholders, bondholder meetings and disclosure - performance of the bond terms and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR, Financial Instruments Market Law, tax law); (c) to keep the website secure and to compile aggregate visitor statistics - legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); (d) where we ask for your consent (for example for non-essential cookies) - consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
Who receives the data
We may share personal data with service providers acting on our instructions (IT hosting, the website platform, e-mail, legal and accounting advisers, the arranger and paying agent of our bonds, Nasdaq CSD), who may only use it for the purposes we specify and must protect it appropriately. We disclose data to public authorities (Latvijas Banka, the State Revenue Service, courts) where the law requires. We do not sell personal data. Data is processed within the European Economic Area; if a provider processes data outside the EEA we rely on the safeguards in Chapter V GDPR.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact. Bondholder data: for the term of the bonds and thereafter as long as accounting, tax and securities legislation require (generally 5 to 10 years). Server logs: up to 12 months. Cookie consent record: 12 months.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or destruction. Access is limited to persons who need it for their work and who are bound by confidentiality.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing before withdrawal. To exercise these rights, write to investors@timbro.lv or to our registered office. We reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, www.dvi.gov.lv).
